This campground is a little bit deceptive. The pictures on the website are of a newer area with only pull-through sites. This area is very nice. The other area with the back-in sites is not the best. It is tight, muddy, and near the roar of the highway. These sites are actually a good walk away from the nicer area. I would not stay on these sites again, but I would stay in the nicer area. It is also very close the Biltmore House. But the bathhouse area is clean.

This resort is really nice. It is the nicest campground that we have ever stayed in by far, but it also costs the most. All sites are paved and clean, and the bath houses are immaculate. Even though it costs more than the average campground, it is still the cheapest way to stay on Disney Property. We go several times a year, but I recommend Christmas. Our family loves the Campfire Program, and it is actually free of charge. There is also tight security, so not just anyone can roll through the campground.

Our family loves to visit this campground. I would recommend the sites around the lake. These sites are not shaded, but much bigger. It is close to Tweetsie Railroad, Blowing Rock, and Grandfather Mountain. We go at least twice a year to get away from the heat and enjoy the quiet. If you are in a big rig, be very careful going up Ray Brown Road as it is very tight with some blind curves (thank goodness this road does not have a lot of traffic). If the roads and sites were paved I would give this campground the coveted "10" rating.

This is a great stopping point on the way to Florida. The owners are very nice, and our reservations are always as they should be (even as a late night arrival).
